Dick and Cat wanted to go camping. Dick asked Bonnie. Dick asked around, then somehow the word got out and it was a CAMPING TRIP.

Which he's okay with, really. He doesn't get much chance to hang around with other kids.

They pick a spot a good distance from the bar, near enough to the lake that washing and swimming can happen, not so close to the forest that demon bunnies are a severe threat, and set about pitching a camp for the weekend, or whenever they all get bored...

"I see," Autor says, toasting his marshmallow. "No, there's not too many people like that around the bar, as far as I can tell. Maybe I'm talking to the wrong people."

"Have you tried putting up a poster? General recruitment ad type thing?"

[herr_bookman]

"No, but I should," Autor says, beaming. "That's a great idea, Gavroche, thank you. I think Joly and I were hoping to have the play picked out before we started recruiting."

"But that still leaves you with the problem of not knowing how big of a cast you can have", he points out.

[herr_bookman]

"True," Autor says, turning his skewer to brown the other side of his marshmallow. "Maybe I can put a poster up to gauge interest in the theater. I'll have to ask Joly."

Gavroche nods.

"No need to make any final decisions about anything right now, or by yourself."

[herr_bookman]

"Indeed," Autor says, and grins again. "Thanks for listening, Gavroche. It's helpful to have someone to bounce ideas off of."

[street_sparrow]

"Always happy to help", he says with a grin in return.
