Camping
Dick and Cat wanted to go camping. Dick asked Bonnie. Dick asked around, then somehow the word got out and it was a CAMPING TRIP.
Which he's okay with, really. He doesn't get much chance to hang around with other kids.
They pick a spot a good distance from the bar, near enough to the lake that washing and swimming can happen, not so close to the forest that demon bunnies are a severe threat, and set about pitching a camp for the weekend, or whenever they all get bored...

Campfire's burning
Time for foods, sing-songs and above all... ghost stories.
Re: Campfire's burning - insert your own verse
"Oh you'll never get to heaven
In a baked bean tin
Cos a baked bean tin
Has baked beans in
Oh you'll never get to heaven in a baked bean tin 'cos a baked bean tin's got baked beans in.
I ain't gonna grieve, my Lord no more, I ain't gonna grieve my Lord, I ain't gonna grieve my Lord, I ain't gonna grieve, my Lord no more."
Re: Campfire's burning - insert your own verse
"Oh you'll never get to heaven
On a pizza tray
Cos gravity
Won't work that way
Oh you'll never get to heaven on a pizza tray cos gravity won't work that way.
I ain't gonna grieve, my Lord no more, I ain't gonna grieve my Lord, I ain't gonna grieve my Lord, I ain't gonna grieve, my Lord no more."
Re: Campfire's burning - insert your own verse
"Oh you'll never get to heaven
on a great big pie
Though maybe you could
It's pie in the sky.
Oh you'll never get to heaven on a great big pie, though maybe you could, it's pie in the sky.
I ain't gonna grieve, my Lord no more, I ain't gonna grieve my Lord, I ain't gonna grieve my Lord, I ain't gonna grieve, my Lord no more."
Re: Campfire's burning - insert your own verse
Oh you'll never get to heaven
On roller skates
'Cause you'll roll right past
Those pearly gates
Oh you'll never get to heaven on roller skates, 'cause you'll roll right past those pearly gates
I ain't gonna grieve, my Lord no more.
I ain't gonna drink I ain't gonna swear, I ain't gonna pull my sister's hair.
I ain't gonna grieve my Lord no more.
Re: Campfire's burning - insert your own verse
In a biscuit tin
Cos the Lord don't let
No crummy ones in
Oh you never get to heaven in a biscuit tin cos the Lord don't let no crummy ones in.
I ain't gonna grieve, my Lord no more
I ain't gonna fight or swear
Or pull my sister's hair
I ain't gonna grieve my Lord no more."

"Ah! That's too bad," Autor says, drawing the marshmallow back to inspect it. "How are you, Rae?"
Re: Campfire's burning
"You want to toast slowly, so it heats all the way through. Else you get a pretty outside and a solid inside, or a burnt outside. You want it melty on the inside, toasty on the outside."

In her hand is a small sausage on the end of a stick. Given how food here is cooked over the fire on sticks instead of a proper pot, this was the best way to go about it.

She put the hotdog into the fire, watching it cook.

She's brought salt and butter and sour cream, too, for when they're ready.
